Since 1996 the ITF New York Taekwon-Do Tournament has become one of the largest ITF-sanctioned tournaments in the United States, with upwards of 400 competitors each year. 

Held at the Fitzgerald Gymnasium of Queens College in Flushing, New York since 2009, the NY TKD Tournament has become a trademark of the ITF in the United States, with visiting competitors, coaches and umpires from across the country and around the world.
